Northern Idaho | Here our soils are shallow clay loam on top of bedrock. All our farmland was originally timberland that has been cleared. The glaciers didnt make it this far south and most of the rock is basalt from the big lava flows that hit Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.
We do not personally have cattle but we do have a guy run his black angus cattle on our pasture.
