you are at the low end of the psi. higher psi will float more. try 1400 to 1500 on dryer ground and 1800 to 1900 or a bit more on the damp, muddy and loose gound. 1000 to 1200 is good for very hard or frozen ground where you can slam the cutter bar down and push hard. 2800 or so it will lift the cutter bar up to rigid.
