CIL | I am long ways off from needing to use the machine but we've got a 8240 combine that plugs the aspirator tube after a few hundred acres and it's very frustrating. I'd like to get it fixed before harvest if it is possible. Dealer says its normal and just to blow it out. Problem is if it ever gets choked all the way it has to come all the way apart or change filters 2-3x a day in beans. Last year the aspirator tube plugged in about 300 acres if I remember correctly. I can't see how there isn't a fix for this or something is wrong with it other than taking apart the aspirator tube and blowing it out?????
So is it normal for the tube to need blown out all the time on 240 series flagships? It snakes around and has several connections so it's not super easy to take apart and blow out as it is. | |
