There just aren’t many New Holland’s in my area and so I don’t have any knowledge other than hearsay. Is this tractor basically the same as a Case IH and if so which model or series? Also does it have a Cummins or Iveco engine? How are they for reliability and serviceability? A local dealer has taken one in on trade and was just curious about it. Thank you.
We bought a new 2016 T8.300 a few years ago that was a couple years old sitting on a dealers lot. Mainly for pulling a planter and a air drill. It also pulls a 16 row stalk chopper in the fall, and gets a few hours a year on a box blade. It has been a very good tractor with no issues. Cab is roomy and good to see out of, autosteer works good, leather heated seat is nice for long days, and plenty of flow through the heat/AC system. All we have done to it is oil changes and related maintenance. I would buy another.
We have also owned a few of the red version of this tractor. For some reason, we have all liked the layout of the controls better on the blue one. But that may just be from habit?
