Belzoni, Mississippi | Well I feel like im the 8650 master on agtalk. It is the only tractor that I own. I plant, spray, and break with it. Let me say that an 8650 is a love hate kinda relationship. In my opinion, it is a pretty powerful little tractor. Mind you when i say little tractor. I call mine a big baby!!! You are not gonna be able to break ground fast. Keep it slow and turning on the end and it will handle just about anything you put to it. These other people are right, it is an expensive tractor to repair. Oh and after running it a few times, you might wanna invest in some good ear plugs. But all in all when mine is running its running great!! I have the 1985 model as well. Great traction and flotation with it are some other good points. Make sure it has the big engine in it and not the small 4840 engine. With this tractor you will learn to love it if you get it. Eventhough it gives me heartache and pain sometimes, i would never trade "Big Betty". Well i can go on for hours about that ole tractor but if you have any questions please let me know. | |
