Subject: RE: Topcon X35 pin assignments

Fargo, ND
I believe these still use the TE 3-1437290-7 connector for power/CAN/serial like the X30 (similar hardware to AGCO C2100/C3000, Wachendorff A6e), which has:

1 - Constant Power
2 - Switched Power
3/4 - Ground
8/9 - CAN1 High/Low
10/11 - CAN2 High/Low
16/17/18 - RS232 Rx/Tx/Gnd

Depending on the application, either CAN1 or 2 could be the "implement" bus if that's what you are trying to wire to. I would be surprised if the X30 and X35 used the same connector/key and had different pin assignments, however, please take caution when wiring.

It's worth noting, the Case Pro 600/700 displays use the same connector and key as these displays, but they have a different pin-assignment than the TopCon/Wachendorff. Also, the JD GreenStar display connectors also use a very similar connector, but fortunately have a different key than these. I can't imagine how many displays could have been fried if this wasn't the case.
