I bought the cheapest one I could find at $118 C. It plugs into a smartphone and works quite well. I can identify hot and cold spots anywhere in the house.
But for that price the image is quite coarse, 32 X 32 pixels, but good enough for the task.
This is not to be confused with an infrared camera which is completely different.
