Subject: RE: Tare weight of semi

Aberdeen MS
With this Pete and '79 40' Cornhusker, tare is plus/minus 27K depending on fuel. I only run one 120 gal tank. With just a little air between the needle and E on the gauge my tare is about 26,400. Fill it full, I'm about 27,400.

It has a 3406B Cat under the hood with a 13 over. When I first bought it, I bobtailed it across the scale. If I remember correctly (it was 9 yrs ago), 11,800 on the steer and 18,100 total tractor weight with me in the seat.

I can legally scale 80K, but I can't remember how much leeway I actually have on the bridge lengths anymore.
