Eastern NE KS | You have a valid concern. However, we have two barn cats that are active hunters. They teamed up a killed a rabbit. They go after field mice and voles. However, they somehow learned to avoid sick or poisoned vermin. If your problem is bad enough, perhaps placing poison is in your future.
I dispose sickly rodents trying to lower the risks. I know I fail to see them all because I find mummy mice during major clean ups. | |
