I run a 2" Honda gas engine/Banjo pump on my 1200 gallon fuel trailer. I've done this for years and the seals had to be changed one time.I don't remember what the proper material was. This is a good fast way to move fuel. Be sure to get a good hose and a high quality nozzle with auto shut off.
