S Illinois | Trust the EIA numbers more. Industry usually say last 800 households per MW or 800k per GW. Springfield likely has 60-70k housing units. The question is what does commercial and industrial account for. Just tough to believe that 8-9% of current IL production isn’t more than enough to power Springfield and then generate 10 times that and still not meet their needs doesn’t pass the smell test. | |
