A friend of mine took a pair of long handled hoof nippers and clipped the heads off the nails
Is what I have heard ma ny have done up here, sometimes put extensions on the handles. For just wood the "bear claw" bar about 8-9 inches long is my favorite, I see Menards had some green Masterforce ones yesterday for just under $10, even made in US!!!!
