#3 is a favorite here.. for many many things especially pulling nails from sub floors to reuse the hard wood. the longer handled model may work better. around here people taking tin off of pole barns use a modified vice grip plier with claws on it and the vice grip is attached to a sliding hammer. thats about as good as it can get
