Subject: RE: Reinke or zimmatic pivot?

Reinke gets my vote, I think they are engineered the best, the easiest to service and repair, and last as long as any. A reinke pipe fits anywhere on the span. Every pipe on a valley is different. Zimmatics joint does not twist, the span must twist. I doubt anyone can prove the reinkes tip over any worse than the others in wind. I have some old ones built in early 1980's and do not have gearbox issues.
