Just got a 2016 250 Magnum. I talked with Jari at Ekotune and he advised me on the 250 not to go above 40hp on the tune on that tractor. He said there was something different on the 250 compared to the 280 and higher Magnum tractors even though they are a large-frame tractor with the 8.7 engine. I'm not sure if it was injectors or what he never did say as he couldn't remember. So I just finished adding 35hp increase to ours. 5th tractor that I have Ekotuned and am more than happy with them.
I tuned a 250 about 35 hp with Jari a few years ago. Best I remember he said it had smaller injectors and turbo than the bigger ones. 35 hp made a world of difference though, very happy with it.
