We had 4-18 acre hay field's. For pointy windrows it took a lot of room to turn. You could turn pretty short to the right, our hay racks (built from old manure spreader front ends) and the bale chamber went over the flat rack.
I wondered how he could monitor the feeding or over feeding of the baler, but the side deal probably made that possible.
The baler would eat a lot of hay. You could hear when the Wisconsin when it was starting to work. You set the gear and throttle to the speed you needed to go. You did not vary the speed, just getting the job done was good enough.
