East of Broken Bow | Good call going with the PTO pump.
I have a 1066, my brother has a 986, and with both of them the 3-pt has priority. So much so, in that you really don't get any hydraulic flow out the ports while the 3 point is lifting. IMO, that would not be a good scenario when running an air seeder. BTDT many times on the money not there thing. Really $1500 isn't all that bad, in the sense that the pump, reservoir, and valve will always be worth something even when you upgrade tractors. | |
