Buffalo IL | Actually what you will need is the pump and I would add a cooler somewhere on the seeder. Some pumps won't require a large volume of fluid, but will need it to flow through the cooler to keep it from getting too hot. My memory is vague on the deere pump but I think it ran on 30 wt non detergent oil and others run on just hydraulic oil. You need non detergent to prevent foaming and hydraulic oils are designed not to foam.
Another thing we had to do once to run a hydraulic drive swing away auger was to install a flow control valve that allowed oil to by pass the extra oil flowing to keep the levers from kicking out from the detent pressure too high. I wish you could have found an awesome 7110 Magnum and you would not have to go through this scenario. I use to run a Bestway sprayer on a 1086 and still have the 1000 rpm pump for it, but switched to 7120 and then a 7110 and run the sprayer with a hydraulic pump. Maybe in the future you can get one. | |
