Subject: RE: Gensco Tires?

East of Broken Bow
What size?
I have had good luck with airplane tires from Farm Landings. They have airplane tires that are a bear to mount, but they will fit on standard implement rims. These are not the 26 ply stuff like Gensco, more like 12-16 ply, but they are a big step above regular implement tires. Ships Spee-Dee and they are about half price of comparable sized implement tires.
I will warn you, when you get above about an 11L15 equivalent, the ones that fit standard rims are much harder to get, and price goes up. Wouldn't hurt to give him a call.
I've been running tire from there on a hay hauler with really good success once I realized that you need to have 90+ PSI in them instead of the 30-40 that implement tires run, They do not like a lot of sidewall flex. Also be warned, they will ride rougher because of this.
