I don’t have one myself but a neighbor does. He said it does a great job of not making a mess with spilled out hay and he has used the pans to throw supplemental feed in at times. However, just like any other feeder, it’s not gonna make spilled hay new again. Like somebody above said, you better be able to tip it over to clean it or grab a shovel.
