I think a guy could keep pretty busy doing light demo/clean up/site prep work with a dump truck and a decent sized tracked skid loader + a trailer to haul the skid and attachments behind the truck.

There's lots of work out there that the guys with dozers/excavators don't want because the job is too small for the hassle of moving big equipment.

There's actually a guy around here that does exactly that and gets work tossed his way from a bigger excavation company.    He has a truck, big skid & attachments and a mini excavator.
