Subject: RE: New Holland T6050 Plus model

I've been told to do that which I now do, but oil level rises up to max mark on dipstick. I've thought that trans oil could be leaking past seals at front of trans into flywheel cavity and then into crankcase thru crankshaft seal. However, there is a drain hole with cotter pin at bottom of flywheel space and there is no sign of oil leak there. So that foils that theory. I earlier replaced the primary fuel pump thinking there might be a leaky diaphragm leaking diesel into the engine oil, but oil analysis shows no fuel contamination. NH mechanic says to use tractor and watch oil levels. He says hyd oil in crankcase will not hurt the engine.
