If you’re not confident about what components is inside your engine I would suggest taking small bites on changes. Many assume that an engine is this or that but unless you know it’s difficult to start on upgrading safely. Higher horsepower engine needs low compression pistons and the 3 elements are pistons, camshaft and injectors that match.
