West Texas
Happened on one of ours before and yes it was the manifold. Quite a bit of work to fix and it had to be done at their shop. This same one has also had the accumulators changed out and the computer replaced for the ILS. All under warranty except maybe the accumulators, I don't remember for sure. I do know that know with 4000 hrs it works better then it ever has before. Not as nice or good as the 8430 though. It had to be in their shop last winter (maybe for the accumulators?) and ever since then it's worked better then ever before. The older one has worked good for the most part. Had the pin thing turn and mess up the sensor. Was fixed on their dime. Have had to repair/replace the cylinders at 5500 hrs. Has had drive shafts replaced and some hoses replaced. Yes, they are probably higher maintenance then a regular MFWD but still well worth it.
