Crawford County, Robinson, Illinois | Ted, I shared your 60's music, that was my time as well. It was KXOK in St. Louis during the day for me, and WLS in the evening, as KXOK was not permitted to broadcast east during the nighttime hours, they turned their antenna's west around 5 or 6 PM. Great music during that era, still being played by many today that have not really locked onto heavy metal and rap for various reasons. WLS was indeed a changing station, Grandpa and Grandma listened to the National Barn Dance on that station, with Captain Stubby and the Buccaneers during their time, we listened to the beginnings of rock and roll in our time, and now Ron tells me it is talk radio? The world just keeps turning..... |
