If you can’t set a combine to achieve both of these you need more training. Maybe you can’t go 10 mph and do a good job, you may need to slow down or make adjustments. They are selling it as having an output of x/hr. Combine performance is normally a compromise between losses, output and grain quality. If they are advertising it as having an output of X but neglecting to tell people that it comes with a losses and quality penalty, then their claims of X/hr need looking at. Deere were offering a bounty of £20,000 (I think it was) in 2020 to any Claas operator that could match the X9. I didn't hear any talk of that for harvest 2021 |
