Agreed.... We just replaced the first set of knives on our 8R30" Northstar after harvest. Has 9800 acres, and besides the knives, we have only replaced one auger bearing, the auger chain and the top sprockets on the gathering chains. That's it in 7 years of use and 9800 acres. The rolls seemed to be perfectly aligned when we changed the knives post harvest.
