WCIN | I bought a new 30ft this year for a 12 cornhead. As mentioned it is a bare bones trailer. Had to replace several hub caps. Once a head is on the trailer you need a good back to get the tongue up high enough to hook up to it. We added a jack after acouple of times trying to get hooked up. The tires are not going to last long either because they need to be more ply. It does fine for me because I go 10 miles away from the home farm and don't try to set any speed records getting there.
The other complaint about this style of a trailer is if you need to back up. It will show you what an amatuer driver you really are! As you can't see the tongue I (and employees) have found it impossible to back in anywhere. Best to be aware where you park to avoid any backing up. | |
