Get the forum software to adhere to web standards and then we'll talk...... ;)
The forum software's level of adherence to web standards has absolutely zero to do with the fact that the forum is hosted on a Windows server, or the fact that the forum software is written in ASP (a MS technology) or the fact that the forum software was probably written on a Windows machine, or anything else other than the competence, effort, and desire of the developer. It's just as easy to write junk code on a Mac as on a PC or to host poor code on a Mac server or a Win machine. As a matter of fact, it's as easy to infect a Mac as it is a PC; there just isn't the same financial incentive.
Remember, PICNIC applies to 99% of computer problems: Problem In Chair Not In Computer.
Yes, I am a happy Windows user (and Linux on occasion). I have "used" a Mac (if you can call it that) all of 5 minutes in the Apple store. Was I impressed? No, not really. Did I give it a fair trial? No, but I saw nothing that would make me want to pursue said trial.
My Koolaid tastes fine - why switch flavors??? :-) |
