What ethnicity is the Holy Spirit?
I really don’t do denominational discussions, but how do we know Jesus was from Mary’s egg? He was conceived by the Holy Spirit. Born from the womb of Mary. I believe that’s all we truly know.
I do think the European image we have of Jesus is because Christianity flourished in Europe more than anywhere else for centuries - not that they were all true Believers. Jesus said neither were the Jews so it’s nothing personal.
Moreover, my guess is that your ethnicity is white (like mine) so that is how we imaged Him. Coptic Christians in Egypt (what’s left of them following recent martyring) likely have an image of a darker looking Jesus embedded in their minds for similar reasons.
I do care about what He looks like too. I think about Him all the time….who would not want to personally see His true image? Jesus said if you have seen Me you have seen the Father. John 1:14. John 12:44-45. John 14:6-9.
