| It is my ten year anniversary tomorrow with my hip. I was 57 and I could not rotate my hip at all. I had the anterior (front) aproach which was very new ten years ago. I spent one night in the hospital and I think it might be day surgery now. I didn't need heavy narcotics at all. Basically just walking for rehab. Had to work hard to get my muscles to tighten up. I walked funny for awhile after surgery. Make sure your surgeon does the anterior aproach. | |
