| I asked some questions here about pipeline easements a while back and Thank You for the many suggestions.
I went to an informational meeting today about the proposed pipeline and found out at this point they are planning to go diagonal across 160 acres of our land.
It would be a 50 foot easement about 3800 feet long on our field. I almost get heartburn thinking about the possible headaches involved:
1. Crazy amount of tile lines cut.
2. Possible loss of access to 80 acres for a growing season.
3. Not being able to apply hog manure on 80 acres in the fall for the next season.
How do you begin to put a value on some of these things?
