Honestly, he probably looked like his neighbors? I’m not a religious expert, but Is it safe to assume people didn’t travel far to meet their spouse, so people of the region looked similar due to similar genetics?
And to all the haters, open and polite discussion is a good thing.
Well, he was a middle eastern Jew. All people come in various shades, but he was darker skinned with short dark hair. He could have been super dark brown or a lighter brown. But where he lived at that time, people weren't white. Like a few have mentioned, as Christianity spread, people painted him and portrayed him to look more European just because that's what they related to. |
