Did they not mock him before the crucifixtion about being the so called King of the Jews?  Wouldn’t the King of the Jews not look Jewish?  

Besides hygiene was so poor back then a pastey white person probably looked medium to dark complexion.   

They mocked him for being king of the Jews because that is what he called himself. Not because he "didn't look Jewish." Jesus was Jewish. The people who arrested him couldn't tell him apart from his deciples.


Wrong Ciaphus called him the “ King of the Jews” Jesus replied My Kingdom is not of this World “   The King of the Jews was an attempt to get Pilot to sentence him to death. 


How many dark skin Virgin Mary statues do you see?
