One would sure think so. But with today's prices, it's probably tighter than a guy thinks. Take taxes off and you are down to $53k.
That may be considered "tight" in your world, but there's not a lot of jobs that pay $37/hour in my world. And over $1000/week net (take home) pay is pretty decent.
You've never worked hourly for a living, have you?
