S.C. Wisconsin | I pull a 24ft trailer with a car and RZR on the trailer behind my motorhome with a 330 hp Cat. If they overheat the radiator probably is plugged. On mine the temperature would climb going up long steep grades. My CAC developed and leak and replaced the CAC and the radiator as the radiator was filthy. I bought a new radiator for $700 and figured the labor would be higher if I had to replace it later on. Now I can climb long steep grades the temperature barely moves off the normal reading. In marine applications they run the C7 at 450 hp, but they have the ability to cool it. There are times I could use more power, but it usually get us there. | |
