North Central Oklahoma | We flat towed our Jeep. The plains were ok all day long. Mountain passes were a different story. The pass st Bozeman, MT always sticks in my mind, but there is a reason trucks are pulled over everywhere with their hoods up. I-80 headed west in Nebraska is tough, but it was always afternoon in July, 100 plus outside with even hotter pavement and a wind in our face. That highway looks flat, but it is a constant grind climbing altitude. We probably should have driven it at night......but I like normal sleep. | |
