Loosen the starter mount bolts, don’t gotta take them all the way out. 1/4” should suffice. Rock starter around. Usually will feel or hear the bendix spring back into starter. Retighten bolts and try starting again, or try rocking engine. I’ve never had any luck rocking anything in gear and getting the starter bendix to release from the flywheel.
