What are the file formats? If you only need to view the shapefile maps you can use QGIS (there is a learning curve on that one but the program is free). If you like SMS you can actually install Windows on a Mac using Boot Camp but you need to buy a windows software license to do that.
Another option is to use a web browser based program like FieldView or MyJD to store and view your files.
