Earlville, NY | Good. Can't believe anyone could defend what those guys did. Plenty of evidence available to public now. He was recorded trespassing on that property (along with a number of other random people) without touching anything. The defendants didn't ask him to stop until after they got in vehicles and chased him around the neighborhood, yelling and waving guns at him, (the non-family member brushed him with his truck, too) The poor guy was probably convinced they were going to shoot him no matter what so when he couldn't get away he tried to defend himself. We aren't living in a frontier town in the 19th century, ( or the South in the early 20th) forming vigilante/lynch mobs. Those guys should have just stayed home and called police; father especially as former law enforcement should have known better.
Probably be lawsuits to follow in regards to how the crime was not even investigated properly until video came out weeks later. Dereliction of duty somewhere in the chain. | |
