| I also think the price will go up, but I got stung by the black swan in '15, so ours go next week cost me about $150 a calf back then, that is a hard pill to swallow, so will take a little less, but still o good price rather then add the risk, maybe that is why we are "comfortable", but small and content with our place in the world.
Read a quote in a beef magazine a couple of years back " There is no money in cow/calf, but it is a wonderful way to build net worth" (might be paraphrased a little, but you get the idea. ) | |
