Center of IL | Build one out of wood. Best boards you can afford. Treated yellow pine would do. Caught 100's of cows in small pen with 2x4 wood stanchion headgate that was used when milking and a small gate to force them in. Had some no. 9 wire that locked headgate. Cheap and really worked well. There's plenty of plans online or at extension office. It doesn't have to be expensive to work. Especially for a few cows. If you have the money to blow, the selfcatching ones work the best in my opinion.
