| I've got a pair of all steel Grousers that are a good brand. Some skidder models require a set of spacers so the inside flange? of the track that hugs the sides of the tires clear the body or boom of the machine. Over the tire tracks have their place. Most are metal and can make loading onto a trailer and staying on a trailer a little tricky but shouldn't have an adverse affect on pavement if your not turning a lot. I can't answer how they would perform on a steep grade or on an all rock base. Additionally I put on a set of junk tires just for the track addition. Tree guys often foam tires to make them solid. Not sure this helps but thats what Ive got. | |
