Northeast ks | The longer your brush pile sits there, the drier it will become, and the easier it will burn....
I've been burning all kinds of brush piles, and all I do is:
1.Get a junk car/ truck tire
2.Set it on the brush pile as close to the top/ middle as possible
3.Fill the inside of the tire with about 1 quart of gas
4.Light gas and run away!
Once the tire starts burning hot it will spread to the limbs. Some piles I burnt this summer took about 12 hours to stop flaming and some were still smoking after 2 weeks.
Make sure the ground around will not burn and keep an eye on it! | |
