You want tracks. Tire machines get stuck pretty easy. When a track machine gets stuck it sucks, but they don't get stuck very often and they are superior in every way. Also make sure you get the controls you want. I like ISO which is left joystick to drive the machine and right joystick just like a joystick in a tractor. H pattern is each lever back and forth to drive the machine (like a zero turn mower) and then left and right on the two levers run your arms and bucket. I'm sure you can get used to either one, but know which one you are buying. I wouldn't want foot controls at all.

For that budget, you can find a decent tracked machine, but probably not with a cab. For lots of jobs a isn't necessary anyway and can actually be a hindrance.
