lot of good ideas on getting the fire started. I have burnt a lot of trees form clearing. If you get a fire started just about anything will burn. One thing you need to do is to keep it pushed up tight to burn. every hour or so you need to push up and keep everything tight. A fire doesn't burn a tree 1 foot above the fire bed.
