That's nonsense. There is nearly start to finish footage of what happened that night, we have more than enough evidence judge the actions of the individuals involved. We don't have to know their souls to say what they did was right or wrong. Imagine if most juries throughout history had anything like the evidence we all have available.
The statement that there was ANY "vigilante justice" that night is also wrong. Vigilante justice is going outside of the law, everything Rittenhouse did was legal, and most of the attackers were illegal, easily shown by evidence if you care to look. The shots Rittenhouse fired were clearly self defense if you've taken five minutes to view the actual footage. That chubby boy was running like a whipped puppy. He should have killed three more. The idea that a 17 year old needs to be doing what he did doesn't bode well for our country. Hopefully the decision makers responsible for that mess have learned their lessons. |
