I would assume anyone attending a riot with a gun is looking for trouble not peace.
So I guess you support the police decision to not "attend" the riot since, by doing so armed they would only be looking for trouble.
An assault rifle has only one purpose, to kill people quickly and easily, so I am unable to understand why anyone would even own one except the military or specialized police units.
Ax has been already pointed out, an AR is NOT an "assault rifle". However, be that as it may, by your argument, nobody but the military and/or law enforcement should own a German Shepherd since they were bred "SPECIFICALLY" for police and military duty, if fact, you would have a better argument with that than against the AR since the AR was made SPECIFICALLY as a civilian Arm and, while it has since been adopted by police, was NEVER intended for police/military applications (unlike the German Shepherd). |
