Subject: Re: TR98 straw chopper infeed drum

East Prairie, MO
Leave it in and take off the belt. The shaft broke inside mine on the first round with my TR98 I bought to help with beans last month, every bean I cut with it with the drum not turning, only had it drop a couple of piles when I was in some really tough and stemmy beans. New one laying in the shop floor now, if the dealer hadn't provided it to me I prolly wouldn't have fixed it cause their cost was around $1100.
