What do you mean "flew apart"? The cover come off or deeper destruction? Ours doesn't run/turn but glad to hear that we shouldn't take it out. We were contemplating that move earlier this year. Thanks Cross Country!!



No Problem Skipper.... No joke...I spent a morning removing that roller because it never has turned since I owned the combine. At night when things were getting a little tough, soybean material would pile up on it and block the chopper. It was a pain in the rear so I removed it the hard way. The bearings were all siezed on the shafts so I bludgeoned it till it gave up and came out. When we got to the field I found that material never even made it to the chopper without it in there, and windrowed just like you were harvesting wheat. Somehow it helps feed the chopper just by being in there. It took the rest of the afternoon to salvage all the parts I mangled getting it out of there and put it back in. I put the cover on the rear beater and it seems to speed up the movement of material in there and I no longer have the piling problem when things get tough.
